CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

The purpose of the Youth Education board is to "foster the development and improvement of a continuing education of the church, for children and youth through the high school age."

Sunday school runs from September through May.  It includes the following departments:
Kindergarten - ages 3-5
Primary - grades 1-3
Intermediate - grades 4-6
Jr. High - grades 7-9
Sr. High - grades 10-12.
The Sunday School started a new and exciting program.  Rooms were decorated and named according to the program.  Students may find their rooms by looking on "Where on Bible Boulevard?"

Vacation Bible School begins in June.  It begins with a meal and continues in the evening.  Those who are interested in attending should contact the church office.

Wednesday  Night Schedule
4:30-5:30  7th Grade Confirmation Class
5:45-6:15/6:30  Supper for 7th thru 9th grade
6:30-7:30  8th and 9thGrade Confirmation Class
5:15-6:30  God Squad (4th-6th Grade)

There are also confirmation retreats for grades 8-10.
Confirmation also includes worship, service projects, and memory work.
The last Sunday in October is Confirmation Sunday where the youth have an opportunity to affirm their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ in a public setting.

Adult education includes a number of Bible studies, forums, and learning opportunities throughout the year. Everyone is encouraged to have a personal time of daily devotions, including Bible study and prayer.
