May 19 is a busy day at Our Redeemer's! Not only is it Pentecost Sunday, but we will be celebrating the gift of our younger members and sending them out into the community and the world. Please join us for worship!
8:30 AM - Graduate Recognition Sunday.
As graduating seniors prepare to take their next step in life, our church community gathers around to bless them on their way and send them with our love. Please join us as we wish our younger members well and send them to whatever lies ahead. Graduates will help lead us in worship, and we will bless the gift of quilts which they will take with them to remind them of the warm embrace of God our Father and their congregation. Following the service, graduates, families and the community are invited to a reception and gift presentation in the fellowship hall.
10:30 AM - Confirmation
At our baptism, we each receive God's promise of grace. In the Affirmation of Baptism (also called "Confirmation"), our 9th grade students will hear these promises again and make promises of their own, committing themselves to God and their faith. This is a celebration of the Church as much as it is for these students' families. Please come worship with us as we renew our promises to these brothers and sisters in Christ.
