Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church is in the Southwestern Synod of Minnesota of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the living God who became a living, breathing human being, just like us. He loved us, lived with us, ate and drank with us, and taught us how to live as members of God's kingdom. He was killed for his message of inclusive love that was too radical for the religious establishment of his day, but his love for us was so great that he could not stay dead. He rose to new life, and with his resurrection, opened the way for us to God's kingdom and makes us God's children and heirs to God's grace.
At Our Redeemer's, we practice open communion, which means that anyone is welcome at our table, no matter who you are, where you're from, or whether or not you go to church, because as Jesus says, "No one can come to me unless the Father draws them."
