In our community, people are in need. Sometimes we as the Church are in a position to help them out with money for necessities: food, gasoline, money for utilities, or other needs. However, in order to offer help to our neighbors, we rely on the Agape fund. This fund is kept and managed by the pastors of Our Redeemer's. Help from this fund is completely confidential and based on need. It is supported by the generous gifts and donations from our members and neighbors in the community. A gift to the Agape fund is a gift to a neighbor in need.
If you are in need of short-term financial help, please come talk to one of the pastors. Depending on what your needs are, we may be able to assist you with the Agape fund. Your name will not be known to anyone besides the pastor. We do not give out cash, but we may be able to help with gasoline, utilities, groceries or other needs if we are able with a check written directly to the business or service provider. God's love compels us to extend a helping hand to our neighbors. The Agape fund allows us to do that. |
